I am a research director at INRAE, and my research focuses on the role of perinatal diet in shaping health throughout life. By studying diet during pregnancy and infancy, and their determinants, I analyse the consequences for development, eating behaviours, and children's health, to generate knowledge that informs nutritional guidelines and public health policies.
My research relies on large birth cohorts, mainly EDEN and ELFE, where I lead the nutrition aspect. I specifically examine diet during pregnancy, adherence to nutritional guidelines, infant feeding (such as breastfeeding, nutritional composition of infant formulas, and complementary feeding), and their associations with growth, development, and overall children's health.
I am the deputy director of the OPPaLE team at CRESS, where I co-lead the 'Women’s health in relation with pregnancy' axis. I also contribute to collective expertise in nutrition within Anses. After coordinating the ANR SOFI and InfaDiet projects and being co-responsible for the FRM PeriContAll project, I have been coordinating the ANR VegPregnancy project since January 2026, which focuses on the links between plant-based diets during pregnancy and the health of the mother and child.
With a background in human nutrition, I obtained a PhD in nutritional epidemiology in 2006. Recruited as a research scientist at INSERM in 2011, I have been a research director at INRAE since 2018.
