Our teams: METHODS

I am professor of internal medicine and have a PhD in genetic epidemiology. I work in an internal medicine department, reference center for adult sickle cell disease at HEGP, Paris. I also run a multidisciplinary unit dedicated to the management of functional somatic disorders at Hotel Dieu. My two main areas of research are sickle cell disease (epidemiology in Africa, clinical research, medico-psychological interactions) and functional somatic disorders (epidemiology, doctor/patient relationship, non-drug management).
