Our teams: EPOPé
Midwife and sociologist, I am one of the first associate professor in Maieutics in France. I am affiliated with Sorbonne University, with the CRESS-EPOPé team for my research and with the AP-HP Pitié-Salpêtrière for my clinical activity.
My research focuses on social inequalities in maternal health between foreign and French women in France and the quality of care they receive. Since my PhD, I have conducted many studies using qualitative approaches or jointly with epidemiologist colleagues within the CRESS-EPOPé team Axis 6. I am currently conducting and supervising researches on early social inequalities in health, violence in perinatal care (so-called gynecological and obstetrical) and the mental health of immigrant women during the perinatal period. |
