Our teams: EPOPé

I work mainly on the relations between hypo-ischemia in the newborn and outcome.

Chronic hypoxia-ischemia (represented by intrauterine growth retardation) and neurodevelopment in the preterm newborn first and more recently the acute hypoxia in term newborns, called hypoxic—ischemic encephalopathy and the outcome. We will initiate a study regarding the quality of obstetrical and neonatal care in these situations of hypoxic—ischemic encephalopathy
