I trained in medicine and epidemiology in Paris. Since 2010, I have been working in the field of childhood cancer epidemiology, mostly on research questions related to aetiology and survival.
My research now focusses on understanding the causes of childhood cancer, in particular regarding genetic predisposition and the role of the mother’s and the child’s previous medical history.
I am a co-principal investigator of the ESCALE and ESTELLE national case-control studies, with Dr Jacqueline Clavel (Aetiological studies). My research is enhanced by strong national and international collaborations. I am a Visiting Senior Research Fellow within the Department of Health Sciences of the University of York (Epidemiology and Cancer Statistics - Health Sciences, University of York), and an active member of the Childhood Leukaemia and cancer International Consortium (https://www.clic.ngo/).
I enjoy teaching and supervising MSc and PhD students.
