I am a PhD candidate in Epidemiology within the EpiAgeing team, focusing on the longitudinal associations between napping and neurodegenerative and cardiometabolic diseases in older adults. My research also explores how sleep and circadian patterns may influence these relationships. I conduct advanced statistical analyses using data from two large population-based cohorts, Whitehall II and UK Biobank, while maintaining high standards of data quality and analytical rigor.
My academic background—including a Master’s degree in Public Health with a specialization in epidemiology and biostatistics, a Bachelor’s degree in nursing, and prior professional experience as a health nurse manager, trainer for nursing students, and research assistant—has strengthened my commitment to contributing meaningfully to public health. I aim to support the production, analysis, and translation of epidemiological evidence into strategies that improve population health.
