On October 2, 2023, Professor Chantal Julia officially received the distinction of Knight of the Order of Merit, for her work carried out in the nutritional epidemiology research team (CRESS) on the development and validation of Nutri-Score, which in 2017 became the nutritional logo on the front of official packaging in France and has since been adopted in 6 other European countries. Professor Pierre Lombrail (Professor of Public Health) presented the medal to Professor Julia during a ceremony at the University Sorbonne Paris Nord, where the team’s work was carried out.
