Inserm podcast “Les Volontaires” : spotlight on the EDEN cohort

For over a year, the podcast “Les Volontaires” produced by Inserm and presented by Chandrou Koumar has been meeting citizens who contribute to medical research in Inserm laboratories. In this new episode, Chandrou Koumar focuses on the EDEN cohort and, more specifically, on the ongoing follow-up study entitled “iEden,” which examines the use of phones, screens, and mental health among young adults and adolescents.

Participants Eudoxie, Axel, and Julie agreed to share their experiences in this cohort and follow-up study. Part of the research team was also interviewed: Barbara Heude, Chloé Vainqueur, and Jonathan Bernard took part.

The podcast was recorded at the OPPaLE team’s offices at the Villemin faculty and nearby in early September. It was a valuable experience for the entire coordination team, who were given the opportunity to meet the cohort participants.

This episode highlights the commitment of the EDEN cohort volunteers, who have been participating in medical research for over 20 years!
