Appointment of Wen Lun Yuan to the Women’s Cardiovascular Health Chair – iWISH, Université Paris Cité
As part of the FIRE-UP flagship project (ExcellenceS call for proposals), the Interdisciplinary Institute for Women’s Health (iWISH) at Université Paris Cité awards three-year junior research chairs aimed at supporting the development of innovative research themes in women’s health.
Aligned with Axis 5 of the Institute, “Women’s Specificities in Chronic Diseases,” the Women’s Cardiovascular Health Chair: Innovative Approaches in Pathophysiology, Diagnosis, and Prevention has been awarded to Wen Lun Yuan, following a two-stage selection process (application review and interview).
Her project, entitled “PREGnancy for Cardiovascular Assessment and REduction of risk (PREG-CARE),” aims to improve the understanding and management of hypertensive disorders of pregnancy and their impact on women’s long-term cardiovascular risk, through an innovative clinical approach and in-depth etiological investigation.
The project will bring together researchers from the OPPaLE team (CRESS), the Cochin Institute, and the Institute for Advanced Biosciences, reflecting iWISH’s strong commitment to interdisciplinary and collaborative research.
