Alice Bellicha: Chair in scientific mediation awarded by the Institut Universitaire de France
Alice Bellicha, a member of CRESS (EREN team) and a junior member of the IUF, has been awarded a chair in scientific mediation by the Institut Universitaire de France. Congratulations!
Below is a summary of the project:
- Chair title: junior chair in scientific mediation
- Dates: from 2025, for 5 years
- Project summary:
Students often find themselves unable to adopt a healthy and sustainable diet, due to a lack of financial resources, culinary know-how or an adequate food offer. The aim is to encourage students to adopt a healthier and more sustainable diet, by adopting an interdisciplinary and participatory approach. The project is based on a consortium involving researchers, students and civil society players.
The objectives are twofold:
1) To build up a cohort of students enabling us to describe their dietary profiles accurately and identify the individual, interpersonal and environmental factors that act as levers or barriers to the adoption of healthier and more sustainable eating habits.
2) To develop a set of participatory research methods involving students as well as those involved in student nutrition, in order to co-construct and evaluate interventions that encourage the transition to a healthier and more sustainable diet among students, with a view to reducing social inequalities.
