I am Professor at the Université Paris-Cité and a hospital practitioner in the rheumatology department at Cochin Hospital in Paris. I am a researcher in the ECAMO team at the Centre de Recherche en Epidémiologie et Statistiques (CRESS) and I coordinate the reference center of the Maladies rares du Métabolisme du Calcium et du Phosphate.
My work focuses on the epidemiology of bone fragility, in particular primary and secondary osteoporosis, and rare bone diseases. In particular, I'm looking to improve the characterisation of fracture risk and improve osteoporosis screening and prevention. I am also working on setting up and validating tools and care pathways designed to improve the management of patients at risk of fracture. I am involved in developing innovative treatments for rare bone diseases.
