Postdoctoral research scientist in epidemiology
Team CRESS: EpiAgeing
We would like to recruit a post-doctoral research scientist to join the EpiAgeing team. The post involves research on inequalities and temporal trends in healthcare use, and assistive technologies use in France using data from 3 large scale surveys carried out by public institutes from 2008 to 2024 and collecting information on health in more than 40,000 participants sampled to be representative of the national population. The overarching aim of this project is to identify and rank the contribution of individual and territorial factors of inequality in access to assistive technologies.
Missions – list of activities: You will work collaboratively with other scientists within the wider EpiAgeing team. You will participate to the preparation of journal articles for publication of research findings from this work.
Profile required: Applicants should have a PhD in epidemiology/statistics, have strong quantitative skills and should be familiar with statistical software (preferentially R) and methods used in complex survey design and temporal trends analyses. Previous experience in the epidemiology of assistive technologies and ageing population would be appreciated.
Supervision: Activities will be supervised by theprincipal investigator of the project, Benjamin Landré.

Condition of employment: Full-time, 38h30, 32 paid vacations and 13 RTT. Partial reimbursement of transport costs (up to 75%). Inserm Social Action Committee (social, cultural and sports benefits).
