Meeting with the Fondation pour la Recherche Médicale and Thierry Lhermitte
Thierry Lhermitte, sponsor of the Fondation pour la Recherche Médicale (FRM), visited Hôtel Dieu on March 12 to meet the METHODS team.
He was welcomed by Professors Philippe Ravaud and Isabelle Boutron, as well as Dr Astrid Chevance, psychiatrist and researcher.
They discussed the importance of better evaluating treatments for illnesses, and the team’s ambition to propose innovative methods for evaluating treatments.
In addition, as mental health is a major national cause in 2025, Astrid Chevance was able to explain her research aimed at improving treatment evaluation in the field of depression.
The meeting provided an opportunity to showcase the team’s work during the broadcast of Thierry Lhermitte’s program on France Inter on March 31.
