Science Week: Anne Chantry featured in the series Women in Science

On the occasion of Science Week, taking place from October 3 to 10, 2025, TV5 Monde is partnering with the French Academy of Sciences to highlight the remarkable careers of women researchers. An exclusive documentary series of ten portraits of French women scientists will be broadcast on the channel and made available on YouTube.

Among these inspiring figures is Anne Chantry, Professor of Midwifery and researcher with the OPPaLE team at CRESS, Université Paris Cité, who presents her work in perinatal epidemiology, contributing to advances in a field that is essential to public health.

Entitled Women in Science, the series brings together a wide range of profiles: five members of the Academy of Sciences, astrophysicists, neuroscientists, and other specialists in cutting-edge disciplines. Together, they embody the richness and diversity of French scientific research.

The broadcast of these portraits reflects a commitment to promoting the role of women in science, who remain underrepresented. Through these testimonies, TV5 Monde and the Academy of Sciences offer the public the opportunity to discover not only careers of excellence, but also the passion, dedication, and challenges that shape scientific journeys.

The series Women in Science will air starting October 3, 2025, on TV5 Monde and will also be available on YouTube.
