🏅 ComPaRe wins the first “Participatory Research” Call for Expressions of Interest launched by AP-HP GHU Paris-Centre – Université Paris Cité.

Co-creating the future of research with patients was the theme of the GHU’s first Research Day, held on 2 October at the Necker Campus.

Professor Viet-Thi Tran, co-investigator of ComPaRe, presented the cohort’s core principles and unique approach. ComPaRe brings together nearly 65,000 patients living with chronic conditions and is built around three key pillars:

  • The world’s only e-cohort dedicated to chronic conditions;
  • A patient community actively involved at every stage of research, from study design to the dissemination of results;
  • A shared collaborative research platform, open to all public-sector research teams.

Today, ComPaRe has collected more than 29 million data points to accelerate research into chronic conditions!

This award is a powerful recognition of the commitment of every patient in the cohort, as well as the work of the research teams who draw on the lived experiences of people with chronic conditions.

A big thank you to the organisers for highlighting, through this event, the importance of involving patients as genuine partners in research and science!
