As part of the 2026 Science Festival, taking place from October 2 to 12, CRESS teams are taking part in numerous events aimed at the general public, school students and professionals. Workshops, conferences, games, an escape game and opportunities for discussion will provide a chance to share scientific knowledge about food, nutrition and public health.

  • Nutri-Score workshop – Science Village, EREN team’s Diet Unit.
  • NACRe Network stand at the Science Village at Université Paris Cité: presentation of the Network, its missions and information materials.
  • Public lecture “On Our Plates: The Scientific Keys to Good Health” – Université Ouverte of CY Cergy Paris Université (CYU) – Mélanie Deschasaux-Tanguy.
  • “Are You (Really) Fit?” workshop at the Science Village (Grands Moulins Campus) – Benjamin Landré.

October 2–3

  • Nutri-Score workshop – Musée des Arts et Métiers, EREN team’s Diet Unit.
  • “Nutrition, dietary supplements and misconceptions: understanding to better act during adolescence and pregnancy”, led by Marion Lecorguillé, with the participation of Barbara Heude (DR), Cécile Ciangura (PH, Pitié-Salpêtrière, AP-HP), Zoé Dupraz (IE), Chloé Vainqueur (PhD student), Rania Barka (IE), Claire Guivarch (postdoctoral researcher), Intissar Miladi (IE).

October 2

  • Science Night at CNAM: presentation of the Mission CRAB-Busters game and facilitation of the third challenge on critical thinking with volunteers – NACRe Network.
  • Viet-Thi Tran will present the ComPaRe cohort during a day organized by the Paris Centre hospital group (AP-HP), dedicated to “The role of patients in research projects” – METHODS team.

October 3

  • Public lecture “Eating for Good Health” – Marc-Ferro Media Library in Saint-Germain-en-Laye – Mélanie Deschasaux-Tanguy.

October 6

  • Escape Game – Villemin Campus, with the NACRe Network and the EREN team’s Diet Unit.
  • Public lecture on the Nutri-Score – Grand Amphitheatre, Odéon site, Chantal Julia. Lecture postponed. A new date will be announced soon.
  • Nutri-Score workshop/lecture at Saint-Louis, organized for AP-HP – Clémentine Ferrard.

October 7

  • Public lecture “Food & Health” – Community Media Library in Les Mureaux – Mélanie Deschasaux-Tanguy.

October 8

  • The Great Health Debunk – Nutrition Special – Université Paris Cité / PUMS – Mélanie Deschasaux-Tanguy & Mathilde Touvier.

October 9

  • Nutri-Score workshop – USPN, EREN team’s Diet Unit.
  • Round-table discussion “Ultra-processed foods in our daily lives” – Community Centre, Ivry-sur-Seine – Sanam Shah.
  • “Science, but differently!”: discover how scientists approach the question of “healthy eating” at the Bobigny campus, in partnership with USPN’s Cultural Department – Alice Bellicha.
  • “How to eat well without stressing” – Bobigny Campus, aimed at students from 7th to 9th grade – Sandrine Péneau.
