The Centre for Research in Epidemiology and Statistics (CRESS) supports the Manifesto for the Ethical and Responsible Reuse of Health Data from Research.

This Manifesto was developed at the initiative of researchers working in the field of public health, who are committed to promoting the reuse of health data from research in accordance with essential principles, particularly with regard to scientific integrity, transparency, stakeholder trust (including patients, researchers, healthcare professionals, and others), and the sustainability of the research infrastructures that generate this data.

The heads of four public health research centres have initiated this initiative:

  • the Centre for Research in Epidemiology and Statistics (CRESS);
  • the Sorbonne Public Health Institute (SPH);
  • the Centre for Research in Epidemiology and Population Health (CESP);
  • Bordeaux Population Health (BPH).
