The prominence of non-randomized studies has increased in recent years, specifically with the surge of accessible data and the development of novel methods to minimize bias (e.g., target trial emulation). Currently, there is great focus on the study design and risk of bias when assessing the trustworthiness of non-randomized studies of interventions. However, other factors could also be important to consider, such as transparency, data availability, replication of analyses, etc.
The aim of the study is to identify the factors that influence the trustworthiness of non-randomized studies of interventions and sort them according to their importance.
We will ask you to participate in two surveys. In this first survey, you will be asked to identify factors that may influence your trustworthiness in non-randomized studies of interventions. In a follow-up second survey, you will be asked to sort the factors according to their importance.
Please note that:
- Completing the survey will take 10-15 minutes.
- Only de-identified data will be collected and analyzed.
- he collected data will remain confidential and anonymous.
If you agree, you will be acknowledged, provided that you share your details at the end of the survey.
Should you have any questions about this study at any time, kindly contact the research team.
